01

Custody Audits

Forensic review of wallets, exchanges, and counterparties tied to a transaction. We map your custody surface and flag everything that violates institutional best practice.

Deliverable: Sealed dossier within 72h

Typical scope: 1–3 counterparties

02

Forensic Recovery

On-chain asset tracing across bridges, mixers, OTC desks. Outreach to exchanges, FinCEN coordination, and chain-of-custody documentation for downstream filings.

Deliverable: Tracing brief + filing packets

Typical scope: 5–14 business days

03

Case Filing

Standardized custody-breach briefs prepared in formats accepted by major exchanges, custodial banks, and law-enforcement liaisons. We handle the paperwork.

Deliverable: Filing packet + ongoing liaison

Typical scope: 2–6 weeks

ENGAGEMENT MODEL

How we structure work.

No mystery box pricing. Fees are scoped in writing during the 30-minute triage call, before any work begins.

Triage call

30-minute scoping conversation with the assigned analyst. No charge. You walk away with a clearer picture of options — even if we are not the right fit.

Investigation retainer

Flat fee covering custody audit + on-chain tracing + dossier drafting. Scoped to your case complexity, confirmed in writing before work begins.

Liaison hours

Optional follow-on time for exchange outreach, regulator coordination, or counsel support. Billed hourly with a written cap. No surprises.

What we do not do: demand cryptocurrency payment from breach victims, require success-based percentages above industry standards, or bill for time not pre-authorized in writing.

METHOD

How a case moves through the desk.

Encrypted intake

Submit through the encrypted intake form. Acknowledgment within 24 business hours.

Triage call

30-minute scoping call with the assigned analyst. Engagement terms confirmed.

Investigation

On-chain tracing, off-chain outreach, custody-breach analysis.

Sealed delivery

You receive a signed, time-stamped brief plus filing packets where applicable.

CASE TYPES

Engagements we handle.

If your matter is not here, ask anyway — we will tell you during triage whether we are the right desk.

Withdrawal stalls

Broker accepts deposits then introduces “compliance verification,” “tax clearance,” or “release fees” before withdrawal. Classic custody breach pattern.

Romance & pig-butchering

Long-tail social engineering schemes targeting individual investors. We trace where funds went and document the engagement for counsel and law enforcement.

Recovery-agent scams

Secondary fraud where “recovery agents” cold-contact victims and request additional payment to “release” frozen funds. We document the chain and prepare filings.

Key & seed loss

Wallet access loss, accidental key compromise, or family-office key custody disputes. Forensic recovery where chain analysis is the path forward.

Exchange compliance disputes

Account freezes, KYC disputes, or compliance-driven asset holds at centralized exchanges. We prepare formal compliance correspondence.

Counterparty fraud

OTC desk fraud, fake institutional issuers, ransomware proceeds. Where the counterparty has identifiable touchpoints on-chain, tracing is actionable.

WHO WE BUILD FOR

Institutional rigor, private-client warmth.

Cryptoslock combines the procedural rigor of custody banking with the responsiveness private clients expect. Every engagement is led by a senior analyst — not a junior intake screener.

Our intake calendar is intentionally narrow. We work fewer cases at higher quality rather than carrying a high case volume. If your matter is accepted, your case gets desk attention.
